Winter doesn't officially arrive until December 21st, yet it sure felt like winter was here in Seattle this week. With the snow, ice and freezing temperatures, you sure could have fooled a number of us. Ironically, I had planned to send these winter driving tips next week to prepare for the change in seasons. Although, it seems to be more timely to share the tips this week.

• Many motorists are not prepared for winter weather.
• Emergency crews may not be prepared.
• You may not be accustomed to driving during winter weather conditions yet.
